Kasat Narkoba Polres Wajo, AKP Bambang Supriady SE kepada awak media ini Kamis 18/04/2024 mengutarakan hal tersebut dan mengatakan kalau pihaknya dalam hal ini Satresnarkoba Polres Wajo akhir pekan kemarin tepatnya pada hari Sabtu tanggal 13 April 2024 Pukul 22.30 Wita, yang dipimpinya langsung dan didampingi oleh Kanit II IPDA Edy Syamsuri S.Sos.,M.A.P., dan Tim tindak lapangan telah berhasil melakukan penangkapan 1 (satu) pelaku penyalahguna narkotika.

Saat ini pelaku dan barang bukti berupa 1 ball narkoba atau kristal bening yang di duga narkoba jenis sabu, 1 (Satu) buah Hp dan 1 ( satu ) plastik berwarna hitam telah diamankan di Mapolres Wajo untuk proses hukum selanjutnya.

Facthur Rochman, S.H, M.H, kami selaku Kasat bersama anggota langsung menuju ke lokasi tersebut dan melihat ada seseorang yang mencurigakan sedang mengendarai sepeda motor yang mana lelaki tersebut adalah target operasi dan anggota langsung memberhentikan pengendara tersebut dan melakukan penggeledahan dan di temukan barang bukti berupa 1 sachet besar berisi kristal bening yang di duga narkotika jenis sabu yang di selipkan di saku celana sebelah kiri yang selanjutnya di lakukan interogasi asal barang tersebut yang di akui berasal dari anisial A yang beralamat di Kabupaten tetangga.
Dan hasil informasi tersebut selanjutnya saat ini kami melakukan pengembangan asal barang tersebut dimana Satres Narkoba telah menggagalkan peredaran Narkoba di Kabupaten Wajo sehingga dapat menyelamatkan warga masyarakat Kab. Wajo dari penyalah gunaan Narkoba. Pasal yang dilanggar :
