Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Divisi Profesi dan Pengamanan Polri mendalami motif 18 orang anggota polisi yang terlibat dalam kasus dugaan pemerasan terhadap sejumlah warga negara Malaysia pada gelaran Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP).
Belasan personel polisi tersebut diketahui terdiri atas personel Kepolisian Daerah Metro Jaya, Kepolisian Resor Metro Jakarta Pusat, dan Kepolisian Sektor Metro Kemayoran.
“Kalau terkait dengan motif, masih kita dalami. Artinya ini cukup harus kita gali karena ini menyangkut beberapa satuan kerja, mulai dari polsek, polres, hingga polda juga,” kata Kepala Divisi Profesi dan Pengamanan (Propam) Polri Inspektur Jenderal Polisi Abdul Karim di Gedung Mabes Polri, Jakarta, Selasa (24/12/2024)

Ketika awak media menyebutkan beberapa nama anggota polisi yang telah tersebar di masyarakat, ia mengonfirmasi bahwa memang ada nama-nama yang terlibat.
“Beberapa nama memang ada di situ,” katanya.
Ia mengatakan bahwa hingga kini jumlah anggota polisi yang terlibat dalam kasus dugaan pemerasan warga Malaysia itu sebanyak 18 orang, sebagaimana yang telah diumumkan sebelumnya.
“Terkait dengan jumlah (anggota polisi), jadi ada 18 orang. Masih tetap jumlahnya sama yang sudah kita amankan,” ucapnya.

Abdul Karim menambahkan belasan anggota polisi tersebut saat ini sudah menjalani penempatan khusus di Divisi Propam Mabes Polri.
Divisi Propam akan mengadakan sidang kode etik terhadap para anggota polisi tersebut pada pekan depan, namun belum ditentukan tanggal pastinya.
Mengenai kemungkinan 18 anggota polisi itu akan dijerat pidana, ia menegaskan bahwa Propam Polri masih berfokus pada pelanggaran kode etik.
“Sementara ini kita fokus ke etik dulu karena kita akan melakukan percepatan dalam rangka sidang etik ini,” ujarnya.

Pada kesempatan sama, Abdul Karim juga mengklarifikasi bahwa jumlah korban dalam kasus ini adalah sebanyak 45 orang dan barang bukti uang yang diamankan sebanyak Rp2,5 miliar.
Ia menegaskan bahwa Polri akan memberikan tindakan tegas kepada para anggota polisi yang terlibat dugaan pemerasan tersebut.
“Kami dari pimpinan Polri ini serius dalam penanganan apa pun bentuknya terhadap terduga pelanggar yang dilakukan anggota Polri. Kami akan melakukan penindakan secara tegas siapa pun itu korbannya,” katanya menegaskan.
Sebelumnya, terdapat posting-an di akun X @Twt_Rave, yang mengunggah sejumlah anggota polisi diduga melakukan penangkapan dan pemerasan terhadap penonton dari Malaysia pada acara DWP 2024 yang digelar pada 13 hingga 15 Desember 2024.

Dalam posting-annya, mereka menyebut bahwa anggota polisi Indonesia menangkap dan melakukan tes urine mendadak terhadap penonton dari Malaysia serta memeras uang dengan total senilai miliaran rupiah.(Antara)
