Bandung, JURNAL TOPIKOR – Setelah Sukses dilaksanakan pada periode pertama di Kelurahan Pasanggrahan Kecamatan Ujungberung, Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bandung bersama Kementerian Kesehatan melanjutkan implementasi teknologi nyamuk Aedes Aegypti ber-Wolbachia di 4 Kelurahan lainnya di wilayah Kecamatan Ujungberung.
Keempat kelurahan tersebut yaitu Kelurahan Pasirwangi, Pasirendah, Cigending, Pasirjati.
Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kota Bandung, Anhar Hadian mengatakan, implementasi pengembangbiakan nyamuk Wolbachia di Kelurahan Pasanggrahan Kecamatan Ujungberung sukses mencapai 67 persen melebihi target Kemenkes yakni 60 persen.
Berkaca dari keberhasilan tersebut, kini Pemkot Bandung bersama dengan Kemenkes akan melanjutkan program tersebut dengan merilis nyamuk Aedes Aegypti ber-Wolbachia di 4 Kelurahan.
“Hari ini kami mulai merilis penempatan ember telur nyamuk Aedes Aegypti ber-Wolbachia di 4 kelurahan di wilayah Kecamatan Ujungberung. Insyaallah akan berlangsung selama 6 bulan,” kata Anhar di Kantor Kecamatan Ujungberung, Selasa 9 Juli 2024.
Sebanyak 1.242 orang tua asuh di empat kelurahan tersebut akan dititipi ember berisi telur nyamuk Aedes Aegypti ber-Wolbachia.
“Kami berharap semua yang terlibat dapat memberikan dukungan. Terima kasih kepada teman-teman yang di wilayah yaitu 1.242 orang tua asuh yang siap dititipi ember,” ujarnya.

Anhar mengatakan, dalam penerapan teknologi nyamuk Aedes Aegypti ber-Wolbachia memang menghadapi banyak tantangan baik internal maupun eksternal. Namun dengan peran aktif seluruh stakeholder, tantangan tersebut dapat teratasi.
Ia menilai, peran aktif masyarakat sangat diperlukan guna menyukseskan pengembangbiakan nyamuk Wolbachia.
“Jadi seluruh elemen yang ada ikut membantu secara aktif. Ini yang akan kita laksanakan juga di 4 Kelurahan. Masyarakat, tokoh masyarakat, lembaga-lembaga yang ada di masyarakat, para kader PKK, kader-kader kesehatan, ini akan kita rangkul. Kita ajak supaya kegiatan berhasil,” kata dia.
Ia berharap, penerapan teknologi nyamuk Aedes Aegypti ber-Wolbachia di 4 Kelurahan ini dapat berjalan lancar.
“Alhamdulillah selama 6 bulan kemarin, telah ada 12 kali rilis dengan tingkat keberhasilan 67 persen. Mudah-mudahan yang 4 kelurahan ini lebih dari 67 persen tingkat keberhasilannya,” ungkapnya.

Sementara itu, Camat Ujungberung, Abriwansyah Fitri mengatakan, keberhasilan implementasi teknologi nyamuk Aedes Aegypti ber-Wolbachia di Kelurahan Pasanggrahan menjadi pemicu penerapan di 4 kelurahan lainnya.
Menurutnya, walaupun sempat menghadapi mis-informasi di masyarakat terkait program ini, tetapi dengan kebersamaan dan komunikasi yang intensif di masyarakat program tersebut berhasil.
“Kita menghadapi mis-informasi yang menjadi tantangan untuk program telur Aedes Aegypti ber-Wolbachia. Kita telah lakukan evaluasi, minimal 6 bulan ini berhasil,” katanya.
“Kita berharap ini salah satu upaya agar angka kasus DBD di Ujungberung menjadi turun. Karena Ujungberung masuk dalam 10 besar daerah dengan tingkat DBD tertinggi di kota Bandung,” imbuhnya.

Ia berharap, Ujungberung dapat menjadi contoh keberhasilan terkait penerapan teknologi nyamuk Aedes Aegypti ber-Wolbachia dan dapat dilaksanakan di 30 kecamatan di Kota Bandung.
Di tempat yang sama, Ketua Tim Kerja Arbovirosis Kementerian Kesehatan, Burhanudin Tohir menyampaikan, capaian pengembangbiakkan Wolbachia di Kecamatan Ujungberung lebih baik dibandingkan 5 kota yang mengujicoba penerapan pengembangbiakan nyamuk Wolbachia.
Rencananya, implementasikan nyamuk Aedes Aegypti ber-Wolbachia juga akan dilaksanakan di 219 Kabupaten Kota di Indonesia.
“Semoga implementasi ini dapat menurunkan kasus DBD Kota Bandung khususnya di Kecamatan Ujungberung,” ujarnya. (*)
