Dalam upacara tersebut diberikan penghargaan Satya lencana Ekapaksi kepada Perwakilan Anggota Babinsa Serma Rusman Gani Koramil 0607-08/ Cikembar.
Usai pelaksanaan Upacara, Dandim 0607/Kota Sukabumi melakukan potong tumpeng didampingi Ketua Persit KCK Cab.XVII, Ny. Alia Indra Gunawan. Tumpeng diberikan kepada Anggota yang Purna tugas (pensiun) yaitu Sertu Anwar Basuni yang bertugas sebagai Babinsa Koramil 0607-09/Cisaat.
Kepada Awak Media, Dandim 0607/Kota Sukabumi, Letkol Czi. Indra Gunawan S.T., M.M., menuturkan, bahwa temanya sudah jelas disampaikan oleh Bapak Panglima TNI menyampaikan tema HUT ke-80 TNI “TNI Prima, TNI Rakyat, TNI Indonesia Maju”.
”Setelah saya sampaikan, amanat yang disampaikan oleh Bapak Panglima TNI, bahwa TNI itu TNI Rakyat. Khususnya kita mengemban tugas, yaitu dimana TNI dilahirkan oleh Rakyat dan Untuk Rakyat. Intinya, segala sesuatu yang disampaikan atau kita aplikasikan dalam ketentaraan ini. Kita bantu untuk masyarakat yang lebih membutuhkan,” terangnya.
TNI Prima itu, kata Dandim 0607/Kota Sukabumi yaitu TNI bisa mengemban tugas sesuai dengan norma-norma dalam TNI. Dan, keterlibatan TNI untuk masyarakat, untuk membantu kejayaan rakyat Indonesia.
Dandim pun menyampaikan harapan dari para anggota TNI, ”Kita junjung tinggi Sapta Marga, Sumpah Prajurit, Delapan Wajib TNI dan aplikasikan ideologi kita, ideologi Pancasila di lingkungan masyarakat dan sekitarnya,” imbaunya.
Tak lupa, Dandim juga berpesan untuk masyarakat, supaya masyarakat tidak boleh sungkan, ”TNI adalah Satuan yang tegas, bukan satuan yang menakutkan. Karena TNI berdiri atau lahir dari rakyat, untuk rakyat. Makanya untuk masyarakat, monggo silahkan terbuka, TNI untuk rakyat,” pesan Letkol Indra.
”Kami siap membantu masyarakat lemah atau masyarakat membutuhkan, semampu kami. Sebagai anggota TNI, untuk bisa membantu bapak-bapak dan ibu-ibu masyarakat semuanya,” pungkasnya
