Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Wali Kota Bandung, Muhammad Farhan bertekad mengakselerasi penanganan sampah sebagai salah satu prioritas utama 100 hari kerjanya.
Sejak dilantik pada 20 Februari 2025, persoalan sampah menjadi sorotan warga dan menjadi fokus utama pemerintah kota.
Farhan mengungkapkan, Pemkot Bandung tengah membangun fasilitas pengolahan sampah organik di wilayah Gedebage. Ia menegaskan bahwa tidak ada insinerator dalam fasilitas tersebut.
“Di Gedebage tidak ada yang namanya insinerator. 100 persen penanganan sampah organik,” ujarnya.
Selain itu, Pemkot Bandung juga tengah merintis pengoperasian 15 titik insenerator, meski baru tiga yang beroperasi.
Tiga titik yang sudah aktif adalah dua di Ciwastra dan satu di Bandung Kulon. Sisanya masih dalam tahap konstruksi dan perhitungan dampak lingkungan.
Untuk mendukung pengurangan sampah dari sumbernya, Pemkot Bandung akan meluncurkan strategi baru program Kang Pisman dan Buruan Sae pada akhir Mei.

Farhan menyebut pelatihan akan digalakkan dengan melibatkan RW-RW yang sudah sukses menjalankan program tersebut.
“Kita akan ajak RW yang berhasil untuk latih RW lain, supaya nggak tergantung terus ke DLH atau DKP,” tuturnya.
Ia berharap pelibatan masyarakat dapat mempercepat pengurangan sampah tanpa bergantung pada dinas terkait. (rob/red)
