Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR — Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto instruksikan para Menteri Kabinet Merah Putih terkait agar memantau dan memastika tidak terjadinya lonjakan harga pangan di awal bulan Ramadan 1446 Hijriah.
Hal itu Prabowo sampaikan di Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma saat tiba di Jakarta usai menghadiri retreat kepala daerah di Akademi Militer, Magelang, Jawa Tengah, Jumat (28/2) sore.
“Saya dalam beberapa pekan terakhir terus memantau perkembangan situasi produksi dan harga-harga pangan, dan saya juga sudah menyampaikan instruksi kepada Menko Pangan, Menteri Perdagangan, Menteri Pertanian, semua menteri terkait untuk memastikan ketersediaan bahan pokok dan mencegah adanya kenaikan dan lonjakan harga yang spekulatif,” tegas Prabowo.
Prabowo mengimbau agar tidak terjadi kelonjakan harga bahan pangan agar tidak memberatkan masyarakat dan pemerintah akan terus berupaya dalam hal itu.
“Ini kita harus bekerja keras supaya seluruh rakyat terutama rakyat paling memerlukan harus dapat menjangkau harga bahan-bahan tersebut dan saya yakin dan percaya kita akan lakukan itu dan sudah kita lakukan itu,” lanjutnya.
Di kesempatan yang sama, Prabowo juga menegaskan agar para menteri terkait tidak hanya memantau akan tetapi juga mempersiapkan langkah preventif agar tidak terjadi lonjakan harga dan akhirnya dimanfaatkan oleh spekulan.
“Tidak hanya pemantauan tapi mengambil langkah-langkah eksekutif, langkah-langkah efektif untuk menjamin tidak ada spekulan-spekulan yang memanfaatkan kesempatan Ramadan ini untuk menaikkan harga yang tidak masuk akal,” imbuhnya.
Prabowo pun mengucapkan selamat menunaikan ibadah puasa kepada umat Islam dan memohon maaf lahir dan batin.
