WAJO, JURNAL TIPIKOR– DPRD Kabupaten Wajo menunjukkan komitmen kuatnya dalam meningkatkan pengawasan dan transparansi dengan menggelar rapat paripurna pembahasan Rancangan Peraturan DPRD tentang Tata Tertib dan Kode Etik, Rabu (7/1/2024).
Pembaruan ini menjadi fondasi penting bagi kinerja DPRD lima tahun ke depan. Rapat paripurna dipimpin Ketua DPRD Wajo, Firmansyah Perkesi, didampingi Wakil Ketua I Andi Merly Iswita dan Wakil Ketua II Andi Rasyadi.
Wakil Ketua I DPRD Wajo, Andi Merly Iswita yang membacakan usulan Ranperda menjelaskan bahwa pembaruan ini merupakan implementasi dari Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 12 Tahun 2018. Salah satu terobosan penting dalam rancangan ini adalah penguatan fungsi pengawasan APBD melalui rapat gabungan komisi yang akan diselenggarakan setiap tiga bulan.
Pembaruan tata tertib juga mencakup mekanisme penyerapan aspirasi masyarakat melalui kunjungan daerah pemilihan yang lebih terstruktur. “Kami ingin memastikan suara masyarakat benar-benar terdengar dan ditindaklanjuti,” tambah Andi Merly.
Dari sisi kode etik, DPRD Wajo memperketat aturan dengan mempertegas batasan perilaku yang melanggar norma, terutama terkait penyalahgunaan wewenang dan konflik kepentingan. Transparansi dan keterlibatan publik dalam pengambilan keputusan juga mendapat perhatian khusus dalam pembaruan ini.
“Kami juga menambahkan bab khusus tentang kerahasiaan rapat dan standar kepatutan anggota DPRD. Ini penting untuk menjaga profesionalisme dewan,” jelas Andi Merly.
