JURNAL POLRI — Kepolisian Air dan Udara yang disingkat Korpolairud Baharkam Polri merupakan salah satu unit di dalam Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Polri) unit ini mendukung tugas kepolisian, khususnya di wilayah perairan dan udara yang ada diwilayah Indonesia Saat ini Korpolairud Baharkam Polri dipimpin oleh Plt Kakorpolairud Brigadir Jenderal Mohammad Yasin Kosasih, S.IK., M.Si. sejak 1 November 2023.
Yasin merupakan seorang perwira tinggi Polri lulusan Akpol 1991 yang berpengalaman dalam bidang Brimob. Sebelumnya, dia menjabat sebagai Dirpolair Korpolairud Baharkam Polri.,Yasin menempati posisi tersebut sejak tahun 2020
Kala itu, Brigadir Jenderal (Brigjen) Yasin Kosasih menjadi salah satu perwira yang mendapat promosi berdasarkan Surat Telegram Kapolri Nomor ST/1383/V/KEP/2020 yang dikeluarkan Mabes Polri pada 1 Mei 2020. Dalam hal ini, dia dipercaya menjadi Dirpolair Korpolairud Baharkam Polri.
Sebelum menjabat Dirpolair, Brigjen Yasin Kosasih sempat menjadi Kasubdit Patroli Ditpolair Korpolairud Baharkam. Dalam tugasnya sebagai Dirpolair, dia menggantikan Brigjen Pol Makhruzi Rahman yang sebelumnya menempati jabatan tersebut sejak Tahun 2019.
Selama kepemimpinan Brigjen Yasin, Korpolairud Baharkam Polri telah menangani banyak kasus. Dikutip dari laman tribratanews.polri, per 2021 Korps Polisi Perairan dan Udara Badan Pemelihara Keamanan Kepolisian Republik Indonesia berhasil mengungkap 655 kasus kejahatan dan menyelamatkan harta negara senilai Rp1 triliun.
Brigjen Pol Mohammad Yassin Kosasih menyebut, 655 kasus tersebut terbagi menjadi 519 pengungkapan oleh Ditpolair Mabes Polri dan 136 pengungkapan di antaranya dilakukan oleh Ditpolair jajaran Polda di seluruh Indonesia.
Dari banyak pengungkapan kasus ini, jajaran Korpolairud dapat menyelamatkan kekayaan negara hingga Rp1 triliun,” tegas Plt Kakorpolairud Yassin Kosasih.
Lebih lanjut, dari sekian banyak kasus tersebut, ada sekitar empat kasus terbesar yang paling menonjol. Di antaranya adalah penangkapan kapal ikan berbendera asing, kemudian pengungkapan penyelundupan bahan peledak di Jawa Timur, hingga penyelundupan benih lobster. (*)
