JURNAL TIPIKOR – Warga Kota Bandung menyambut baik pemberian vitamin A kepada para balita bahkan Baduta (bayi di bawah 2 tahun). Pemberian vitamin A ini sebagai upaya penggencaran pemberian vitamin bagi anak.
Saat ini, pembagian diawali di kelurahan Lingkar Selatan Kecamatan Lengkong. Terdapat 18 anak terdiri dari 14 baduta dan 4 balita yang diberikan vitamin A.
Salah satu orang tua, Nurul Lita menyambut baik adanya pemberian vitamin A kepada anaknya. Hal ini memberikan dorongan bagi pertumbuhan anak.
“Mudah-mudahan dengan pemberian (vitamin A) ini, anak semakin sehat,” katanya di Posyandu Delima RW 01, Kelurahan Lingkar Selatan, Senin 26 Februari 2024.
Ibu dari Aina ini meyakinkan, pemberian vitamin tersebut merupakan upaya memberikan pertumbuhan bagi anak.
“Alhamdulillah anak saya terus berkembang, setiap diukur tinggi dan berat badannya. Dengan kasih vitamin A ini, bisa lebih bersemangat dalam memberikan asupan gizi,” bebernya.
Sementara itu, Penjabat Ketua TP PKK Kota Bandung, Linda Nurani Hapsah mengungkapkan kegiatan tersebut sebagai pemberian rutin dilakukan kepada anak.
“Ini dilakukan setiap bulan Februari dan Agustus. Pemberian vitamin A ini untuk meningkatkan tumbuh kembang anak, stimulasi sel darah putih, dan pembentukan tulang sel hingga daya tahan tubuh,” bebernya.
Ia mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan momentum tersebut untuk asupan vitamin bagi anak.
“Saya imbau kepada masyarakat untuk manfaatkan program pemerintah ini. Upaya kita untuk menyiapkan generasi emas di tahun 2045. Kita punya bonus demografi, dengan perhatian yaitu aparat bisa terus tingkatkan kesehatan masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Di tempat yang sama, Ketua Posyandu Delima, Dewi Kuraesih mengungkapkan, saat ini dilakukan pemberian vitamin A sebanyak 18 vitamin kepada anak.
“Saat ini sedang dilakukan pemberian vitamin A. Ini sebagai upaya pemberian nutrisi untuk meningkatkan tumbuh kembang anak,” ujarnya.
