  18. Minnesota responded with a strong offensive drive. It’s an appropriate way for the Lions’ postseason run to end, as Detroit hasn’t looked anything like
their former selves in a long time. They finished with 231 yards, marking their third-worst effort under Campbell.

It’s Detroit’s first time missing the playoffs since 2022, Dan Campbell’s second year in charge.
The Detroit Lions were officially eliminated from playoff contention in Week 17
with their loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Day.
On those four scoring drives after a takeaway, they traveled an average of 16 yards.
In a season that’s had plenty of blame to go around,
the Lions’ offensive line can be pointed at as the primary reason they lost this game.
